Matt Roberson serves the Lead Pastor of Connection Church in Marlow, Oklahoma. With a heart deeply rooted in worship and ministry, Matt has faithfully served in various roles within the local church for over two decades.
Before stepping into his pastoral role, Matt spent 17 years as a Worship Pastor, a calling he continues to honor by leading worship at events and conferences nationwide. Driven by a calling to raise up the next generation of worship leaders, he now serves as the Director of the Worship Studies Department at Oklahoma Baptist University, where he mentors students to lead with both skill and spiritual depth. Matt is the visionary behind Heartland Worship, an annual worship conference dedicated to inspiring and training church leaders and worship teams. He is also the author of ALIGN: A Church’s Shift from Tradition to Mission, a practical resource for churches navigating cultural shifts while staying grounded in biblical mission. Beyond his roles in church and academia, Matt serves as a leadership coach, helping pastors and ministry leaders grow in effectiveness and purpose. His life and ministry are marked by a deep commitment to worship, leadership, and the local church.

Cody Dunbar was born and raised in Oklahoma! Cody serves as Worship & Creative Pastor at Together We Church in Yukon, Oklahoma. Cody is a creative with a passion to use all art to give our ultimate Creator the glory! On his downtime you can catch Cody watching OKC Thunder play or tossing a line in the water at a good fishing lake. His most favorite moments are spent with wife Penny, Daughter Scotlyn, Son CJ, and their family prize possession “Cooper RJL-Wigglesworth Dunbar” their Golden Mini-Doodle!

Charlie Hall serves as an Executive Elder and Worship & Liturgy Pastor at Frontline Church in Oklahoma City. He cares deeply for leaders and has a heart to serve the growth of their leadership through relationship and soul care. Prior to joining Frontline Church, Charlie spent 20 years working and traveling as a songwriter and musician. He is married to Sarah and lives in Oklahoma City with their four children.

The Worship Initiative is a collective of worship leaders and songwriters based in Dallas, TX. Initially founded by Shane & Shane as an online equipping resource for worship leaders and churches, it has since grown into a thriving community of singers, musicians, songwriters, and theologians seeking to help the Church worship God with music that is artistically compelling and scripturally sound.
Pastor at The Trails Church, Professor of Worship Ministries, Midwestern Seminary
Matt was raised in a home where he was taught Scripture and who Jesus was from as early as he can remember. At the age of seven, he was convicted of his sin and knew he needed a Savior. He repented of my sin, trusted in Christ, and was baptized a few months later.
In his teenage years, he began playing guitar and writing songs. This became a big part of his life and growth in Christ. Matt has been involved in writing and leading church music ever since, and still writes hymns as a hobby today. He also serve as a Professor of Worship Ministries at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO teaching in the area of corporate worship, hymnology, and liturgical history.
In 2018, Matt set out on an adventure of a lifetime and planted The Trails with a group of friends who came together to see a church planted in northern Collin County. For Matt, they have been the most rewarding years of his life, and he praises God for His kindness to their church family.
Worship Pastor/Recording Artist
Born and raised in Lexington, KY, Marshall Hall is best known for his time as a member of the Gaither Vocal Band, and his appearances on the Bill Gaither Homecoming videos and concert tours. During his career as a session vocalist and artist, Marshall has performed and recorded with many Gospel Music greats and Country Music legends such as: George Jones, Randy Travis, Michael W Smith, Andrae Crouch, Billy Graham, and Vince Gill. Over the years, Hall has earned several GMA Dove Awards and a 2009 Grammy Award for his work as a songwriter, artist, and producer. In 2014, Marshall was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame along with all past and present members of the Gaither Vocal Band. He continues to create new music and serve the church as a worship leader and pastor. Marshall currently serves at Northland Church in Longwood, FL.
